Currency

Seychelles Rupee (SCR) = 100 cents.

Notes are in denominations of Rp500, 100, 50, 25 and 10.
Coins are in denominations of Rp5 and 1, and 25, 10, 5 and 1 cents.

Currency Exchange

All banks process traveler’s cheques and foreign exchange transactions. The four main banks are Barclays Bank, Seychelles Savings Bank, Nouvobanq and Mauritius Commercial Bank (MCB)

Credit Cards and ATMs

Master Card and Visa are widely accepted; Diners Club and American Express have more limited use.
ATMs are available in Mahé, Praslin and La Digue.
